By Any Media Necessary—An <i>Educator Innovator</i> Webinar

This webinar brought together members of the Henry Jenkins’ Media Activism and Participatory Politics (MAPP) Project and invited educators to informally share and reflect on the hands-on sessions the team completed during the summer of 2014. Like those summer sessions, this webinar acquained participants with MAPP’s new educational resources that include media, workshops, and other materials which highlight the power of stories, participatory culture, and creative expression as tools for fostering civic imagination and inspiring real-world change. The webinar participants also articulated ongoing efforts to integrate peer-based learning, popular culture, and media production into civic learning pathways.
