YOUmedia Learning Labs are located in libraries, museums, and community centers across the United States. The tools and materials in each site range according to the community’s needs, and many emphasize the use of digital media and technology to produce, rather than consume media. On Thursday, May 28th 1:00 p.m. EDT/10:00 a.m. PDT, sites from the YOUmedia Network will be discussing the types of tools and materials used most often, from computers to construction kits, recording equipment to crafting supplies, laser cutters to 3D printers.
