Making-Learning in Different Settings

In this hangout, participants discussed the advantages and challenges of different institutional settings for maker-learning. They examined how different settings fit with different learning goals, describing learning-making in libraries, schools, makerspaces, and after-school programs. This hangout was hosted by Howard Rheingold and was the final hangout in a 4-part series called “Maker-Ed: Tinkering, Inventing, Learning,” which was co-streamed at connectedlearning.tv.
