Mozilla Curriculum Workshop: Letters to the Next President

In this hangout, a co-streamed workshop with Mozilla, an Educator Innovator partner, co-hosts Amira Dhalla and Chad Sansing, along with producers Kristina Gorr and Paul Oh, helped participants answer the question, “How can I use the web to teach and learn what’s important to me?” Join us as we prototype teaching and learning materials live on-air and think out-loud through the curriculum design process.

In this May workshop, which looks at the National Writing Project’s Letters to the Next President 2.0 (#2nextprez) campaign, Rafranz Davis, Jeremy Dean, and D.C. Vito helped us learn about youth civic engagement. We talked about compelling examples of youth organization and leadership before we prototype resources that might help foster both. The work is being documented on a shared etherpad and you are invited to help build something useful to youth near you!
