“Open Portfolio”: Helping Makers Show Off Lifelong Learning—A Webinar with Connectedlearning.tv

The third and final webinar of the series “Looking Closely at Student Work in the Digital Age” discussed how to create a lasting method for effectively documenting maker work using portfolios. Viewers learned about  Maker Education Initiative‘s “Open Portfolio” project, how it’s developing a common set of practices for an open, decentralized, and distributed lifetime portfolio system for makers, and many more resources and ideas to help educators and students organize and chronicle work.
