Teaching Innovations

Spurred by the work of Central Texas Writing Project educators, Education Service Center Region 13 in Austin documented the innovative practices of those teachers in an online video series. These educators joined together to discuss how their students use digital tools to connect with others while taking control of their own learning, from ESL students blogging on Youthvoices.net to fifth graders emulating Ted Talks to high school students using iPads for more in-depth audio feedback.
